Jayant Yadav

Jayant Yadav made an impression straightaway after bursting onto the first class circuit in 2011. His debut for Haryana in the Ranji Trophy, at the age of 21, yielded six wickets to contribute in his team's demolition of Gujarat. He didn't make much of an impact in the following games, before playing against the visiting England side where he snared 4 wickets in the first innings.

Spin bowling is an art which takes lots of time to develop, leave alone perfect. Yadav has come about well in recent years. He topped Haryana's wicket-taking charts in 2014-15, indicative of a maturing bowler. It didn't evade the eyes of the selectors, and his performances were recognized with an India A spot against the touring South Africa A and Bangladesh A.

An IPL contract wasn't far away. Delhi Daredevils signed him up in 2015, and he made his IPL debut against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Yadav hasn't been a regular in the playing XI of the franchise, but has proved his worth whenever called upon.

In this day and age where even the lower order is required to contribute with the bat, Yadav gets by pretty well. He has, time and again, given standout performances which ranges back to 2012 when he scored a maiden ton - scoring 211 and partnering Mishra in a record-breaking 392-run stand for the eighth wicket.

Having consistently built his stock in the IPL, and also the domestic circuit, Yadav has been rewarded with a berth in India's upcoming 2016 tour of Zimbabwe along with some other promising youngsters - an ideal opportunity to make a name for yourself.
