Preliminary Written Test Results for PC (Civil&AR) & Warder (Prisons) :

Recruitment to the posts of SCT Police Constable (Civil) (Men & Women)-3216 Posts, SCT Police Constable (AR) (Men & Women)- 1067 Posts, in Police Department and Warders (Male)-240 Posts & Warders (Female)- 25 Posts, in Prisons & Correctional Services Department was notified vide Notification Rc.No.202/R&T/Rect.2/2016, dt: 22-07-2016.
Preliminary written test (Qualifying) for the above posts was conducted on 06-112016 at 792 centres in 27 towns in Andhra Pradesh. 3,86,472 candidates participated in the exam out of which 1,16,127 qualified. ll the candidates are once again informed that qualifying marks for OC was 40% (i.e. 80 out of 200), BC was 35% (i.e. 70 out of 200) and SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen was 30% (i.e. 60 out of 200). The result is prepared accordingly. It is observed that some candidates have mentioned different community in application form and OMR Sheet. The benefit of doubt is given to the candidate in all such cases in preparing the result. However, this result will depend upon the production of actual community certificate by the candidate at the time of PMT/PET. With regard to the answer key which was released on 6.11.2016.
