Rise of the Tomb Raider is finally releasing for PlayStation 4 on October 11, after months of anticipation for this version, and Xbox and PC users playing it all alone, probably in the dark, praying for their exclusivity to resist as long as possible.
With the days passing by, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are providing more details and showing something more about this new release. We know the PS4 version will have a PlayStation VR mode, supporting virtual reality, called Blood Ties.
And today we even have a gameplay trailer coming from the Japanese end of Square Enix, providing some new information and displaying how much good the game still is.
From the trailer itself, of course, we can't get what developers Nixxes Software and Crystal Dynamics have achieved so far, as they're still working on solutions to optimize the game: target is 1080p and 30fps, but as said when this new version got announced there's a chance to have a "bonus" in terms of frames per second - it happened the same with Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for PS4, when frame rate was unlocked.
Anyway, until the release date approaches, we'll only be able to wait and see what kind of information could come from Square Enix.
