Gravity Rush 2' Finally Coming To PS4; [VIDEO] Gameplay Trailer Revealed; December Release Date Set

Sony's "Gravity Rush 2" is coming and will debut exclusively on PlayStation 4. The release date has been confirmed on Dec. 2 in the United States and the United Kingdom; and here are the details we have so far.

The good news came to light when Sony's Associate Product Marketing Manager Brian Dunn spilled the beans on PlayStation Blog on July 18, Monday. Bunn announced that the sequel to the physics-defying hit will finally launch on Nov. 30 in Europe and will be followed on Dec. 2 in the US and the UK.

Bunn then revealed that "Gravity Rush 2's" pre-order on PlayStation Store will start on Aug. 2. He added that individuals who pre-order "Gravity Rush 2" from participating retailers will apparently get alternate white customer downloadable content (DLC) for the game's main character, Kat (Kitten in Japan) and the Select Soundtrack featuring nine tracks the game, as well.
What's more, players who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will receive an instant reward of 10 PSN avatars from the game, along with a PS4 theme. Along with the release date, an all-new slamming 161-second trailer has been unleashed, giving fans a taste of what's to come.
Sony first made a splash when they announced that they are already developing a sequel game to 2012's "Gravity Rush" and was originally known as "Team Gravity Project" at the Tokyo Game Show on Sept. 20, 2013.  During the Tokyo Game Show 2015, Sony then officially unveiled the game as "Gravity Rush 2."
Directed by Keiichiro Toyama, the upcoming game is based on the player's capacity to manipulate gravity, permitting extraordinary movements and navigation. According to Game Reactor, players can pick among three gravity styles - the original style from "Gravity Rush;" Jupiter, which gives Kat's assaults more impact and Lunar, which increases Kat's speed and her ability to hop higher.
As "Gravity Rush 2" has three times the missions than its predecessor, the sequel game will run between 20 to 40 hours long, Gaming Bolt reported. The game map is also 2.5 times bigger than the first game.
Set in a town with an ethnic atmosphere, "Gravity Rush 2" follows Kat and Raven in a one-of-a-kind adventure as they go up against a slew of soldiers, robots, and monsters destroying the city.
