'Watch Dogs 2' release date, news: Gameplay trailer showcases title's vehicles, weapons, and more

A lucky gamer was able to get his hands on an early copy of "Watch Dogs 2" and decided to do a little review of the game. The game is said to be better than the first one in terms of the things that one can do with the environment such as flying drones, driving vehicles, and having more options for weapons, among others.

Arekkz Gaming uploaded a short video on YouTube that mostly highlights on the things that players will be able to do when the game gets released on Nov. 15. Players will be standing in for Marcus Holloway, a DedSec hacker, who is determined to bring down ctOS 2.0, which is an advanced surveillance system.
Developer Ubisoft decided to listen to the players' feedbacks from the first game, and this can be seen clearly in its upcoming game. There are more options that are available now compared to the previous offering. Even the clothes of Marcus can be changed. Players can now simply buy clothes from the shop if they fancy changing their attire.
Players can still grab others' set of wheels, but the studio also decided to put in the option of buying their own car which they could use to drive around San Francisco. Additionally, one can finish the game without firing a single shot from a gun. Although, those who wanted to go blazing with weapons will have several options as well. The video showed Marcus holding a taser, while another part showed the character choosing a weapon. A pistol, a rifle, an RC vehicle, and a drone were also seen in the inventory.
Speaking of drones, the video also showed Arekkz playing a drone game, one of the added side activities for the upcoming game.

f course, "Watch Dogs 2" is incomplete without the hacking activities, and the new gamewill have more of these. Players can perform simple hacks from their smartphones like controlling traffic lights, CCTVs, and even cars. More complicated hacks will also be presented within the game, which could be performed with a laptop.
"Watch Dogs 2" will have a worldwide release on Nov. 15 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered Campaign Trailer Looks Impressive

Call of Duty enthusiasts are used to getting a new game every year at this point, but for 2016, Activision is releasing two. While Infinite Warfare plans to take players into more science fiction territory than has been previously seen in the series, there appears to be an equal amount of excitement over its companion game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered. For longtime fans who are looking for a nostalgia trip or new players wondering what this updated version of the classic first person shooter is all about, a new trailer released today focusing solely on the single player campaign.

Though the game is still well over a month away, the launch trailer has arrived for the title, revealing a number of the memorable story missions such as Crew Expendable, All Ghillied Up, and Shock and Awe. What’s more impressive in this trailer may be the fact that the game looks phenomenally better, as the trailer highlights the improved lighting effects, updated textures, and smoother animations. According to Activision, players can also expect a smoother framerate, dedicated servers, better audio quality, and other enhancements as well.

Unfortunately for multiplayer fans, the trailer does not feature any footage from that side of the game, choosing to focus solely on the single player campaign. New gameplay was recently released however, as the annual Call of Duty XP event was held in Los Angeles and allowed fans to go hands on with just a small slice of the final package.

Considering the fond memories many gamers have with the original Call of Duty 4, Raven Software is trying to stay as authentic as possible with this remaster. The team is not only adding every single multiplayer map from the original release over time, but also bringing back familiar details such as the original multiplayer announcer as well. A popular move calledstrafe jumping, which has since been removed from more modern Call of Duty titles, is also being restored and should bring a smile to series veterans.
Still, the biggest question many fans have on their minds is whether or not Activision will eventually release this game on its own or if it will be forever linked to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. While rumors have begun to swirl regarding a standalone release, which prompted a subsequent denial by Activision, there’s no doubt a decision like this wouldn’t be made until sometime long after the launch of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered launches on November 4, 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One provided fans purchase either of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s premium editions.

HELLO NEIGHBOR! LOOKS LIKE THE SCARIEST VIDEO GAME OF ALL TIME

If you grew up in the suburbs and then moved to the big city when you got older, you would likely agree that, while the city might wear its crimes and dangers on its sleeve, the ‘burbs can feel altogether more sinister, since it’s hiding behind a facade of normality. I certainly had that neighbor who you rarely saw, was never very friendly, and you were sure was up to something behind the seemingly peaceful doors of their bright white and yellow house. The new video game Hello, Neighbor! looks to prey upon those small town fears and dredge up a whole lot more.

The game comes courtesy of tinyBuild, who assert that Hello, Neighbor! is their most ambitious outing yet. Your goal is to sneak into your neighbor’s house and find clues that will get you closer to finding out what he’s hiding in his basement (something nefarious, surely). Of course, you need to try not to be seen or, failing that, you need to distract him long enough to get to your objective. Because if he gets you…well, just watch the end of the trailer above.

Just watching the video had us here in the Nerdist offices feeling icky and tense. And what’s even scarier is the promise by tinyBuild that the game will have 10+ hours of play, and that your neighbor will be an ever-learning A.I. that will eventually get to predict your movements and set up booby traps for you throughout his house. You’re going to have to be really, really smart, fast, and stealthy to not turn in to your neighbor’s next basement decoration. Tom Waits had the right idea about weird neighbors.
Hello, Neighbor! will be available on Steam summer of next year, and you can find out more information on the game right here.
