Louisa May Alcott

Louisa May Alcott (/ˈɔːlkət, -kɒt/; November 29, 1832 – March 6, 1888) was an American novelist and poet best known as the author of the novel Little Women (1868) and its sequels Little Men (1871) and Jo's Boys (1886).[1] Raised by her transcendentalist parents, Abigail May and Amos Bronson Alcott in New England, she also grew up among many of the well-known intellectuals of the day such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Henry David Thoreau.

Nevertheless, her family suffered severe financial difficulties and Alcott worked to help support the family from an early age. She began to receive critical success for her writing in the 1860s. Early in her career, she sometimes used the pen name A. M. Barnard, under which she wrote novels for young adults.

Published in 1868, Little Women is set in the Alcott family home, Hillside, later called the Wayside, in Concord, Massachusetts and is loosely based on Alcott's childhood experiences with her three sisters. The novel was very well received and is still a popular children's novel today, filmed several times. Alcott was an abolitionist and a feminist and remained unmarried throughout her life. Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh Bhavnani (born 6 July 1985) is an Indian film actor who appears in Hindi films. After completing a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Singh returned to India to pursue a career in film. He made his acting debut in 2010 with a leading role in Yash Raj Films' romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat. The film emerged as a critical and commercial success, earning Singh a Filmfare Award in the Best Male Debut category.

Singh went on to star in the romantic drama Lootera (2013), Sanjay Leela Bhansali's tragic romance Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), his biggest commercial successes to that point, and in the action-drama Gunday (2014). In 2015, he starred in the ensemble comedy-drama Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), and portrayed Bajirao in the historical romance Bajirao Mastani, one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films, for which he garnered critical acclaim and won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Singh was born on 6 July 1985 into a Sindhi family to Anju and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani. His grandparents, Sunder Singh Bhavnani and Chand Burke, moved to Mumbai from Karachi, Sindh, during the Partition of India. He has an elder sister named Ritika Bhavnani. Singh is the maternal cousin of actress Sonam Kapoor and producer Rhea Kapoor, daughters of actor Anil Kapoor and wife Sunita Kapoor (née Bhavnani).Singh explains that he dropped his surname Bhavnani, since he felt that the name would have been "too long, too many syllables", thus downplaying his brand as a "saleable commodity".

Singh always aspired to be an actor, participating in several school plays and debates. Once when he had gone for a birthday party, his grandmother asked him to dance and entertain her. Singh remembers that he suddenly jumped in the lawn and started dancing to the song "Chumma Chumma" from the 1991 action film, Hum. He felt the thrill of performing and was interested in acting and dancing. However, after he joined H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai, Singh realised that getting a break in the film industry was not at all easy, as it was mostly people with a film background who got these opportunities. Feeling that the idea of acting was "too far-fetched", Singh focused on creative writing. He went to the United States where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.

At university, he decided to take acting classes and took up theatre as his minor. After completing his studies and returning to Mumbai in 2007, Singh worked for a few years in advertising as a copywriter, with agencies like O&M and J. Walter Thompson. He then worked as an assistant director, but left it to pursue acting. He decided to send his portfolio to directors. He would go for all kinds of auditions, but did not get any good opportunities, while only getting calls for minor roles: "Everything was so bleak. It was very frustrating. There were times I would think whether I was doing the right thing or not."

Fidel Castro

Fidel Castro dead at 90 :

Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz (American Spanish: [fiˈðel aleˈxandɾo ˈkastɾo ˈrus] About this sound audio (help·info); August 13, 1926 – November 25, 2016), commonly known as Fidel Castro, was a Cuban politician and revolutionary who governed the Republic of Cuba as Prime Minister from 1959 to 1976 and then as President from 1976 to 2008. Politically a Marxist–Leninist and Cuban nationalist, he also served as the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba from 1961 until 2011. Under his administration Cuba became a one-party socialist state; industry and business were nationalized, and state socialist reforms implemented throughout society.

Born in Birán as the son of a wealthy farmer, Castro adopted leftist anti-imperialist politics while studying law at the University of Havana. After participating in rebellions against right-wing governments in the Dominican Republic and Colombia, he planned the overthrow of Cuban President Fulgencio Batista, launching a failed attack on the Moncada Barracks in 1953. After a year's imprisonment, he traveled to Mexico where he formed a revolutionary group, the 26th of July Movement, with his brother Raúl Castro and Che Guevara. Returning to Cuba, Castro took a key role in the Cuban Revolution by leading the Movement in a guerrilla war against Batista's forces from the Sierra Maestra. After Batista's overthrow in 1959, Castro assumed military and political power as Cuba's Prime Minister. The United States was alarmed by Castro's friendly relations with the Soviet Union, and unsuccessfully attempted to remove him by assassination, economic blockade, and counter-revolution, including the Bay of Pigs invasion of 1961. Countering these threats, Castro formed an alliance with the Soviets and allowed them to place nuclear weapons on the island, sparking the Cuban Missile Crisis—a defining incident of the Cold War—in 1962.

Adopting a Marxist-Leninist model of development, Castro converted Cuba into a one-party socialist state under Communist Party rule, the first in the Western hemisphere. Reforms introducing central economic planning and expanding healthcare and education were accompanied by state control of the press and the suppression of internal dissent. Abroad, Castro supported anti-imperialist revolutionary groups, backing the establishment of Marxist governments in Chile, Nicaragua, and Grenada, and sending troops to aid allies in the Yom Kippur War, Ethio-Somali War, and Angolan Civil War. These actions, coupled with Castro's leadership of the Non-Aligned Movement from 1979–83 and Cuba's medical internationalism, increased Cuba's profile on the world stage and earned its leader great respect in the developing world. Following the Soviet Union's dissolution in 1991, Castro led Cuba into its "Special Period" and embraced environmentalist and anti-globalization ideas. In the 2000s he forged alliances in the Latin American "pink tide"—namely with Hugo Chávez's Venezuela—and signed Cuba to the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas. In 2006 he transferred his responsibilities to Vice-President Raúl Castro, who formally assumed the presidency in 2008.

Castro was a controversial and divisive world figure. He was decorated with various international awards, and his supporters laud him as a champion of socialism, anti-imperialism, and humanitarianism, whose revolutionary regime secured Cuba's independence from American imperialism. Conversely, critics view him as a totalitarian dictator whose administration oversaw multiple human-rights abuses, an exodus of more than one million Cubans, and the impoverishment of the country's economy. Through his actions and his writings, he significantly influenced the politics of various individuals and groups across the world.

Dear Zindagi

Dear Zindagi (English: Dear Life) is a 2016 Indian drama film directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by Gauri Khan, Karan Johar and Gauri Shinde under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and Hope Productions respectively. It stars an ensemble cast of Alia Bhatt, Ira Dubey, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar, Angad Bedi, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shah Rukh Khan, with the latter doing an extended cameo. Principal photography began in early 2016 and was completed in May. The film released on 23 November 2016 in North America, two days before its worldwide release on 25 November 2016.

When we meet Kaira aka Koko (Alia Bhatt) in Dear Zindagi first, she is working. On a set. Looking at the world through a lens, constructing pretty images. We know, from her smile, and from the appreciative comments of her co-workers, that she is good at what she does. To have a female lead presented as possessing a profession from the get-go, and excelling at it, still feel like a significant step for a Bollywood movie. And to have Kaira declare to a current love that she has had a fling with another feels nothing short of a revolution. Right there, within a few minutes of the opening of ‘Dear Zindagi’, director Gauri Shinde has us intrigued. We want to know more about Kaira, about what makes her tick, what she wants to do, because she wants to do something, be someone.

Rajinikanth’s 2.0 first look launch

Amid huge fanfare and a cine extravaganza, the first look poster of Rajinikanthand Akshay Kumar from Shankar’s 2.0 is set to be launched in Mumbai today, Sunday in Mumbai.
The sequel to Enthiran (Robo in Telugu and Robot in Hindi) is touted to be the costliest project in Indian cinema clinching the rank from Baahubali. The film is said to be made at a whopping budget of Rs. 350 crore.
The first look launch is one of its kind as the looks of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar will be launched in 3D by Lyca Productions. The event hosted by Karan Johar would also see popular stars Kamal Hassan and Shah Rukh Khan sharing the stage with Rajini and Akshay. Huge LCD screens have been put in place to set the tone of the mega launch.

Meanwhile, fans of Rajini have lined up outside Yashraj Films to welcome him for the event. The superstar arrived at YRF in a white Porsche and staying true to himself, he stepped out wearing a simple white Kurta. Soon enough Akshay arrived followed by leading lady Amy Jackson in their respective cars. Salman Khan has come for the launch, he said he was not invited but he came because he knew Rajini is here for the launch.
“I just wanted to see Rajinikanth. Most amazing man. I have a lot of respect for him. I wasn’t invited. I got to know the was launch here. So came here. Akshay Kumar is the only actor who has had growth in our industry. Rest of us are stagnant,” said Salman Khan.
Amy Jackson who is working with Rajinikanth for the first time was euphoric for being a part of this project. “I had no idea that I would be a part of this film with these legends. I was intimidated initially but on sets, everyone was like my family,” she said.
Akshay Kumar had hours before shared his avatar from 2.0 on Twitter. Well, he looks no less than Nolan’s Joker or Bane. No wonder the make-up for his role took him 6 hours every day to get into the character!

However, A R Rahman feels that composing music for this film is a tough nut to crack.
“It’s the toughest film I am doing. He is not happy with anything I am doing. I am trying to create something unique for India and the world,” the music director said.
Even Thalaivaa himself expressed similar sentiments saying how tough it is a job to work with the director.
“To work with Shankar is difficult. He is a perfectionist.  That is why he is one of the biggest directors. This picture as 3D is a different experience. But the truth is Akshay Kumar  is the hero,” said Rajinikanth.

Director Shankar, who gave great visual heavy films like Robo and Vikram strarrer I, feels that this film has been a tremendous task for him.
“The film 2.0 was like having Everest on my shoulder and climbing another Everest,” said the director.
V Srinivas Mohan who is the VFX designer for 2.0 said that this film has effects much grander than his earlier works — Robot and Baahubali. Director Shankar says that audience need films like Baahubali and 2.0 more.
Lyricist Mahdan Karkry was also all praise for Shankar’s direction style. “Director Shankar doesn’t like cliches. He wants something new and that is why he is successful. A R Rahman also sang my first song. I am very honoured,” he said.

Mallika Sherawat, boyfriend tear-gassed and beaten up in Paris apartment

Mallika Sherawat (born Reema Lamba on October 24, 1976) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi, English and Chinese language films. Known for her bold onscreen attitude in films like Khwahish (2003) and Murder (2004), Sherawat has established herself as a sex symbol and as one of the most popular celebrities in Bollywood. She then appeared in successful romantic comedy Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006) which won her much critical acclaim.

Mallika Sherawat was reportedly tear-gassed and beaten up in her apartment block in Paris on Friday. According to a report in Daily Mail, Sherawat and her boyfriend Cyrille Auxenfans were attacked by intruders who ‘wore scarves across their faces and without saying a word, sprayed their victims with tear gas before punching them.’
Prosecutors said the couple most likely inhaled fumes from the tear gas. Officials say Auxenfans was most likely harmed by the suspects but that the couple refused to see a doctor to assess possible injuries. They said Sherawat was not thought to have been physically harmed in the attack.
The police revealed about the incident, which happened on the night of November 11 — just a month after reality TV star Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint here, reports dailymail.co.uk. According to Le Parisien newspaper, the criminals wore scarves across their faces and “without saying a word, sprayed their victims with tear gas before punching them”. They then fled, leaving a shocked Mallika and her friend to call the emergency services.
The report said that the police have launched a criminal investigation, and detectives believe that this may have been a robbery attempt. “We cannot understand why the attackers fled without taking anything,” a source in the investigation told AFP.
Sherawat has barely escaped similar incidents in the past in India. A report in Mid-Day said that Sherawat was at the risk of being attacked in Jaipur in 2013 when she was shooting for the biopic of Bhanwari Devi. The Myth actor is pursuing her career in the West.
Though no reaction came from Mallika on this attack but she shared with fans a video from Geneva, where she was travelling on November 12. “In #Geneva #Switzerland for the weekend, wanted to share with you one of my favorite places:) #lifestyle #weekendvibes #lareserve,” she wrote along with her post.

Earn 100$ per Day

And now to the most important part on your way to success and income with NeoBux! Strategy and how to build towards a decent daily income!
Below are a few strategies. There are so many sites offering strategies and tips (just google "NeoBux Strategy", you'll see!) I am just going to show you a couple of different versions.
Personally, I jumped in and invested about $100 to get started, but as you will see below, you can get started with absolutely NOTHING out of pocket! You can use your earnings from ad clicking to build your referral team, you need never spend a dime out of pocket to make this happen!
Earn with NO COST

What I am about to show you is a way to build your earnings to $50 bucks a day without spending a nickel. No hype, no fluff and at most 15 minutes a day.

$50+ Per Day NeoBux Strategy Guide : No Investments Needed!

This Strategy Guide will teach you how to make REAL money with NeoBux, without paying them a thing. The only catch is you won't be making $50/day right off the bat.  You will be making a few cents when you first start.

The name of the game is called PATIENCE.

Now, with this method, I haven't invested any money to earn money. If you have money to invest, by all means, do it  and you'll see results faster than mine. The key to making money on NeoBux is through referrals.  It's simple, if you don't have referrals, you won't make money.

You can rent referrals directly from NeoBux.

The referrals are real people (NOT BOTS) and cost 25 cents a month each.  Some will be active and some won't.  To recycle a non-active referral for an active one you have to pay 7 cents.
It may seem like a lot, but it's worth it.  If you don't recycle inactive referrals, you will lose money.

Sushma suffers kidney failure, needs a donor

NEW DELHI: External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj was admitted to the AIIMS due to kidney failure and underwent tests for a transplant, but the doctors said the procedure may take some time as a donor was yet to be found.

"Friends: This is to update you on my health." "I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless," she tweeted this morning.

Doctors at the hospital said since a suitable donor was yet to be found, the transplant would not be conducted immediately.

"Since a donor from her immediate family is not available right now, the kidney transplant might take some more time. The search for a suitable donor is on. Meanwhile, she is on maintenance dialysis (as and when required)," said sources.

Swaraj has been allowed to go home on Wednesday, but she will be back at AIIMSon Thursday, the sources said.

64-year-old Swaraj, who has been in and out of the hospital for last few months, was admitted to AIIMS on November 7. A team of doctors comprising Dr Sandip Mahajan, professor (Nephrology), Nikhil Tandon, HOD (Endocrinology), Dr Randeep Guleria, HOD (Pulmonary Medicine) and Balram Airan, Chief of the Cardio Thoracic Centre are treating her.

After Swaraj tweeted about her health, there was a flood of get well soon wishes from politicians as also people from a cross section of society. Some even offered to donate a kidney to her.

"Respected @SushmaSwaraj ma'am. My blood group is B Positive. I will be happy to donate my kidney to you, if needed. God bless," tweeted Rahul Verma.

Many saw her announcement as setting new standards of transparency as politicians usually are not forthcoming about divulging details of their health condition.

"@SushmaSwaraj sets yet another benchmark. In terms of being honest about health issues. This is truly a new India as it should be," tweeted marketing expert Suhel Seth.

Politicians cutting across party lines, including Congress leader Ambika Soni, National Conference's Omar Abdullah, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Union Ministers Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Jayant Sinha and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje wished Swaraj speedy recovery.
