'Mortal Kombat X' Kombat Pack 2 gameplay trailer launching this week

The widely popular fighting game from NetherRealm Studios will soon recieve and expansion that will add new characters to its already notable roster. First revealed during the Video Game Awards, the Kombat Pack 2 for "Mortal Kombat X" is set to introduce new characters to the game. To further hype the DLC game creator Ed Boon made a new announcement regarding the Kombat Pack 2.
In an announcement made via the official Twitter account of Ed Boon, the creator said that a gameplay trailer for the second Kombat Pack will be revealed this week. Although details on the trailer are scarce, it is likely that the trailer will show off the moves and the brutal fatalities of the upcoming characters. Also, no exact release date has been stated for the trailer.
Similar to the forst DLC, there are a total of four characters included in the new Konbat Pack. The first Kombat Pack for "Mortal Kombat X" introduced the characters Jason Vorhees, Predator, Tremor and Tanya to the game. The next characters once again include third-party characters, a returning fan favourite and a new character in the franchise.
The Kombat Pack 2 trailer revealed at the Video Game Awards showcased who the new characters are. The DLC will bring back the drunken brawler Bo Rai Cho to "Mortal Kombat X," he was seen in the game before but he is being made playable now. The new character is Triborg. He is a mix between three "Mortal Kombat" veterans namely; Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke.
As for the new third-party characters, Leatherface from the "Texas Massacre" franchise and a Xenomorph from "Aliens" will be joining the roster. They will be joining Jason Vorhees and Predator as part of the horror icons in "Mortal Kombat X."
No release date and pricing has been pegged for Kombat Pack 2 as of now. With the gameplay trailer dropping this week, fans should expect more details soon.
